Victoria Villa Project Update

This is the 2nd progress installment on the work being carried out on the 'Victorian Villa Project'  2 weeks in and making the Villa function as a single private residence.

Room 1 Dinig room, nearly finnished with new Cornice, new Archtrave, new 12" Skirting to match exsisting. 28 doors trimmed and planed, fitted with reproduction Ebony 'bee-hive' handles and escutions, brass plates and traditional lockable Rim-locks. Walls papered in Cole & Son.

The Bespoke Joinery Design team have completed the Design for the bespoke kitchen, the inspiration has come from the french country villlages of the south of France, reworked in a contemporary style. The primary timber is steamed beech formed into curved slatted shelving, end grain butchers block, and shaped Corian in colour Etherial Azure.

The main door to laundry has a full hieght glass panel etched with the personal coats-of-arms of the owners.

Next week fanalising the design and moving back to the workshop to talk to Richard (who holds the keys to making this work.). I'll let you know how it goes.
